Hall of Fame
Wayne Allen ’00 was a standout sprinter for the Kings Point track and field team, setting multiple Academy records during his time at the Academy. Even 25 years after leaving Vickery Gate, Wayne still holds the program’s indoor 55-meter dash and 200-meter dash records, as well as the outdoor 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash records. All four records were set during his First Class season in 2000, where he also qualified and competed in both the 55-meter indoor and 200-meter outdoor events at the NCAA National Championship Meets. He was awarded the Admiral Giles C. Stedman Trophy in 2000 as the Academy’s top graduating male student-athlete. Wayne’s record-breaking career continues to define the standard for sprinters at the Academy.
