Morgan P. Ames, III ’00 was a record-setting four-year starting goalie for the USMMA lacrosse team. He set the NCAA Division III record for saves in a season in 1999 with 369—a mark that still stands at the time of his induction— and his .742 save percentage that season ranks fourth all-time in a single season in the NCAA record books. Morgan was selected to play in the STX/USILA NCAA Division III North-South All-Star Game and was the starting goalie for the South team. Throughout his time at Kings Point, he led the Mariners to four straight appearances in the ECAC Metro Tournament, including back-to-back trips to the championship game in his sophomore and junior seasons. He was named the All-ECAC Tournament Team Goalie in 1999.
