Upon his induction into the Kings Point Athletic Hall of Fame,John ReShore is the highest scoring kicker in the history of theAcademy’s football program.  From 1971-75 he set sixkicking records, including most career points by a kicker (135),most career field goals (25), and longest field goal (48). ReShore’s unique combination of strength and accuracy earnedhim spots on the ECAC All-East Division-III Team, the New YorkState Colleges All-Star Team, the College Division All-AmericaTeam, and he also won the Alder/CBS Golden Tow Award as the bestkicker in the east. 

ReShore’s talents were not limited to footballalone.  In addition to the four varsity letters he earned withthe gridiron squad, ReShore also won two varsity letters with thebaseball team, and one as a member of the tennis team.
