Seamus Hunt '03 saw his highly-acclaimed soccer career at Kings Point culminate with a selection as a First Team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Academy's 2003 Admiral Giles C. Stedman Trophy recipient, Hunt led the Mariners to three Skyline Conference Championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances in four years. A starter since his freshman year, he was an All-Skyline Conference selection all four seasons on the pitch and was named the Skyline Player of the Year twice in both 2000 and 2002. Hunt also earned First Team All-Region honors in 2001 and 2002. He steered the 2000 Mariners to the program's first-ever victory in the NCAA Tournament, and two years later captained the most successful soccer team at USMMA up to that point with a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16.
