Jesselyn (LaValley) Britton ’10 was dominant for the Mariners in both softball and volleyball during her time at Kings Point and was the recipient of the Julie A. Berke Trophy in 2010. On the diamond, LaValley was selected as the Landmark Conference Player of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She was a two-time All-Landmark First Team selection (2009 & 2010) and one-time Second Team honoree (2008), while also landing on the Landmark Volleyball First Team (2009) and Second Team (2008). LaValley ranks in the top-five in the Landmark in nearly every offensive and pitching category for softball, as well as first all-time in conference volleyball history with 244 career solo blocks. In 2017, she was selected to the Landmark Conference Softball All-Decade Team.
