Audrey Meyers Hammond ’04 was a four-year member of the Kings Point women’s swimming & diving team and served as a team captain both her junior and senior seasons. She was a multiple-time individual Skyline Conference Champion over the course of her career and helped lead the Mariners to back-to-back Skyline Championships in 2003 and 2004. Audrey reached the top-eight “championship heat” six times at the ultra-competitive, multi-divisional Metropolitan Swimming Conference Championships and was named the Mets’ Dick Krempecki Outstanding Senior Award recipient in 2004 ahead of swimmers from NCAA Division I and II. At the time of her graduation, Audrey held seven Academy records, three individual and four relay, including the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle records which both stood for 12 years.
