Edward “E.M.” Michalski was a letterwinner with both the Kings Point football and track and field teams with a midshipman/cadet at the Academy. On the track he was a one-man show, consistently winning the sprints, the broad jump, the high jump, the discus and the hammer throws at numerous track meets. On the football field Michalski used his speed to become a star halfback for the early Kings Point football squads.
