Warren Hartmann ’14 was a four-year starting second baseman for the Kings Point baseball team who, at the time of his induction, remains the academy leader with 206 hits, 139 runs scored, 47 doubles and 79 stolen bases, while also ranking second all-time with a .393 batting average and third with 122 RBIs. He is the only Mariner to ever reach the 200-hit plateau in his career and was the first and only to hit over .435 in back-to-back seasons. The Academy’s 2011 Berke Rookie of the Year and 2014 Admiral Giles C. Stedman Trophy recipient was a three-time First Team All-Landmark Conference selection, and was the Landmark Rookie of the Year in 2011 and Player of the Year in 2013. Hartmann earned All-Region accolades from three different organizations in 2013 and 2014 and was a First Team ABCA/Rawlings All-American and garnered Third Team All-America honors from D3baseball.com after his first class season in 2014, becoming the first Mariner to receive All-America praise from two different outlets. He was selected to the Landmark All-Decade Team for the 2010s.
