Chester Wojcicki was a two-year letterwinner for the Kings Point baseball team and was also a member of the basketball team. He captained the squad in 1946 and 1947, a time when Kings Point played collegiate powers St. John's, Yale and the University of Maryland. He currently holds the record for the highest single season batting average (.466). Wojcicki was named the best collegiate hitter and pitcher in the New York area and received an offer to play for the New York Giants after graduation.
