United States Merchant Marine Academy

Joel Meyer ’04 was a four-year member of the men’s swimming and diving team at the Academy and served as the team’s diving captain all four seasons. He was the 2004 NCAA Division III National Champion in the one-meter dive event and earned the Academy’s Giles C. Stedman Trophy after his senior year of 2003-04. Throughout his illustrious four years at King Point, he was a six-time All-American on both the one-meter and three-meter boards for four-straight seasons (2001-04) and was named the 2004 National Diver of the Year. Meyer also earned ECAC and Metropolitan Conference Diver of the Year honors in 2004.
