Mike Woodrick ’86 was a four-year starting defensive tackle for the USMMA football team who helped turn around the program in the early 1980s after a couple of down years before he arrived at Kings Point. He was a highly-decorated student-athlete, earning the Academy’s Admiral Giles C. Stedman Trophy for top male athlete after his senior year in 1985-86 and being selected as the Hanley-Naegele Award recipient and Team MVP award after his 1985 senior season, serving as team tri-captain. Woodrick was a three-time Division III All-American and three-time ECAC MVP, while also earning Liberty Conference Defensive MVP honors twice and being selected as an AP Division III All-American.
