WEST POINT, N.Y. (May 8, 2025) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men's track and field competed at the West Point Twilight on Thursday. Senior Konnor Bye (Liberty Hill, Texas) and freshmen Garrett Rees (Rising Sun, Md.) and Easton Millard (Scottsdale, Ariz.) led the way for the Blue and Gray with a pair of top 10 finishes.

Bye registered a leap of 6.79m (22' 3.25") for a second-place finish. Rees finished eighth in the discus with a personal best toss of 43.35m (142' 3"), while Millard came in 10th in the Javelin with a mark of 43.47m (142' 7").
 
Senior Alex Burita (Annandale, Va.) recorded a top 20 finish and a new PR in the 800m with a time of 1:57.99.
 
Merchant Marine concludes their season next Monday, May 12, at the Widener Final Qualifier in Chester, Pennsylvania.
