How They Got Here
Withers went an undefeated 4-0 to win the individual championship at the NCAA Region III Championship Meet Feb. 28-March 1. The sophomore recorded one pin and two major decisions to finish atop the 184-pound bracket.
Â
He currently sits at 29-3 overall on the season with 21 pins, two technical falls and three major decisions. Withers has been ranked among the national leaders in "most falls" and "most dominant" throughout the 2024-25 season.
Â
Garrison is returning to the NCAA National Championships for the second-straight season. He went 3-1 at the Regional Championship Meet earlier this month to finish in second place at 285 and punch his ticket to Providence. The senior won his first three bouts with two pins and a major decision, but lost in the finals via a close 13-10 decision to Alvernia's Mauro Pellot.
Â
His current record this season is 25-2 with 13 pins, two tech. falls and four major decisions.
Â
