Konnor Bye (Liberty Hill, Texas) led the way for Kings Point with a pair of top five finishes, while four other Mariners recorded top ten finishes on the day.

Bye finished third in the Long Jump and Triple Jump with leaps of 6.41m (21' 0.50") and 12.86m (42' 2.25").
Senior
Alex Burita (Annandale, Va.) and freshman
Ethan Alliot (Sheridan, Wy.) crossed the finish line in sixth and 10th in the mile. Burita was the Blue and Grey's fastest runner in the event, registering a time of 4:39.61, while Alliot posted a new personal best with a time of 4:51.71.
Freshman throwers
Garrett Rees (Rising Sun, Md.) and
Nicholas Troiano (Burlington Flats, N.Y) concluded their days with new personal bests, finishing fifth and seventh in the event. Rees surpassed his PR from last week with a throw of 12.68m (41' 7.25"), while Troiano set a new personal best with a 12.00m (39' 4.50") mark.
Up next, Merchant Marine will take part in the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Center in Staten Island next Friday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m.
