NEW YORK (Jan. 17, 2025) – For the second time this season, USMMA men's track & field senior

The old record was 6.82m set back in 2012 by
Chris Cook '15. Bye actually set a new record twice over his six attempts, as his first leap was good for 6.88m, but his fifth jump stood as his best, 6.94 (22' 9.25"). He finished in fifth place at the event, first among DIII jumpers, and his mark wound up ranking him 26th in the nation in the event.
