(Sept. 29, 2026) – The USMMA men's soccer team extended its shutout streak to four straight games with a 0-0 draw against Farmingdale State in Skyline Conference action Tuesday night. Game Link Merchant Marine generated the first quality opportunity of the night in the fourth minute when senior Noe Macias (Lansing, Mich.) put an attempt on target, but Farmingdale State goalkeeper Vas Dallas made the save.

Junior Cade Dailey (Orange Park, Fla.) forced another save in the 19th minute before classmate Robert Derwin (East Meadow, N.Y.) tested Dallas in the 22nd.  Senior Andrew Jung (Fairfax, Va.) put an attempt on goal in the 36th minute, while freshman Drew Coyne (Harrington, N.J.) had another shot turned away in the 43rd.

The Rams applied more pressure in the second half, but Howell again came up with a key stop in the 71st minute on Christian Russo. Merchant Marine continued to push for the go-ahead goal, with Jung forcing a save in the 78th minute before Derwin had attempts turned away in the 74th and 88th minutes.
