Freshman
Tyler Withers (Gettysburg, Pa.) had a phenomenal sequence during the final minute of the first period where he had a reversal against the Bears' Kenny Marra, which turned into a quick pin just a few seconds later to get the Mariners on the board and bring the fans inside the gym to their feet.
Â
After dropping the 197 match via a tech fall, the Mariners closed out the match with junior
Reid Garrison (Broadway, Va.) winning his heavyweight battle against Coast Guard's Kevin Pandorf via a 14-4 major decision.
