The Academy put 21 shots past the Dolphins' keeper, second-most of the season and most in Skyline action so far plus campaign-bests for shots (69), shots-on-goal (44), and face-offs (24) with CMSV taking just six for a win rate of 80%.
Â
It was a teamwide assault on the poor Mount Saint Vincent defense as 14 student-athletes scored at least one point while half of those went for three or more.
Â
Soo made the most of his day in the spotlight, securing his first ever multi-goal game of two in his 12th appearance as a Mariner.
Â
Hall found himself three points on a pair of goals and an assist while Stephenson moved his win-loss record above .500 all-time as he picked up his 14th win in 27 decisions on Kings Point by allowing one goal opposed to three saves before exiting at halftime.
Â
Freshman
Patrick McGovern (Syosset, N.Y.) led the squad with five points on four goals despite having just one through his eight-game tenure to this point.
Â
Five Blue and Gray clad players logged four points apiece including
Owen Barcus (Annapolis, Md.),
Michael Emerick (Damascus, Md.),
Jack Collins (Memphis, Tenn.),
William Badeer (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and
Jack DeTommaso (Massapequa, N.Y.) with DeTommaso's tally being a new personal-high.
Â
Adam Johnson (Canton, Ohio) saw his ground ball and faceoff win totals skyrocket as he added ten grounders to his career stat line to give him 13 plus claiming a triumph in 14 of his 15 draw controls (93.3%) to boost that number up to 24 for the year.
Â
Jason Rupli (Washington, D.C.) also gave those stats a shot in the arm, collecting five ground balls and nine victories in faceoffs while recording his first career point via an assist.
Â
Dom Mirack (Stevensville, Md.) caused a season-high three turnovers while
Mark Bredeck (Severna Park, Md.) forced a pair.
Â
Kings Point will look to move above .500 for the first time since winning the season opener when Mount St. Mary comes to town for the 142 Game at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Live links for the game can be found onÂ
the USMMA Men's Lacrosse Schedule Page.
