Kira Porzio (Palo Cedro, Calif.) will be headed to nationals to compete in the high jump!

Porzio's season-best mark of 1.67 meters (5' 5.75") is tied for 17th in the national rankings among all Division III women's high jumpers. She achieved the mark, which set a new Academy record, in the Mariners' last "regular season" meet of the season, the Fastrack Last Chance Invite back on Feb. 3.

This is the second time that Porzio will represent Kings Point at an NCAA National Championship event, as she also qualified for and competed in the 2022 Outdoor Championships last May.

The 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held this Friday and Saturday, March 10-11, at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. The women's high jump will go off at 1:30 p.m. (ET) – 12:30 p.m. local – on Saturday afternoon, March 11. Live links to follow along are posted on
