With the victory, the Cardinals improved to 14-11 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Following the defeat, the Mariners dropped to 10-12 on the season and 0-4 in the Landmark.
October 13, 2010 | Women's Volleyball Volleyball Picks Up Solid Win Against SUNY Old Westbury, 3-1 KINGS POINT, N.Y. – On Wednesday evening, the United States Merchant Marine Academy women’s volleyball team earned its 10th victory of the season as the Mariners shutdown SUNY Old Westbury, 3-1, at the Liebertz Gymnasium in Kings Point, N.Y. With the win, USMMA improved to 10-11 on the year. Following the defeat, the Panthers dropped to 16-6 overall.
