Before USMMA: Zacharias earned a varsity letter all four years she played volleyball at Kempsville High School.  She served as captain in 2012 and was team MVP in the 2011 season.  Zacharias earned the "Highest GPA Award" and is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Spanish Honor Society
