Before USMMA: Wehlburg earned four varsity letters on the basketball court at Chantilly High School.  She served as team captain and was named to the All-Tournament team in 2013 following the District Finals.  Wehlburg received the team's Character Award following both her junior and senior seasons.  She was also a three-time recipient of her school's Scholar-Athlete Award.
