Before USMMA: Hofmann was a letter winner on the basketball, soccer, and softball teams at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School.  She was named to the all-conference and all-county teams in basketball.  On the soccer field, Hoffman was tabbed as team MVP and holds her high school's record for shut outs.  She finished as her high school salutatorian and received a honors diploma at graduation.
