Michael Budesa Named Two Time All-American March 23, 2009 KINGS POINT, N.Y. - Michael Budesa of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy pistol team received All-American honors. He was named Second Team Free Pistol as well as the Second Team Air Pistol. He was the only Mariners this season to receive the All-American honor. Pistol Places Fifth At NRA Collegiate Championships March 15, 2008 The United States Merchant Marine Academy pistol team placed fifth out of nine competing teams at the National Rifle Association Collegiate Championships this past week in Fort Benning, Ga. The team placed fifth in the free pistol, eighth in standard pistol and fifth in air pistol. For the third and final time in as many outings, the Mariners finished ahead of Coast Guard in the team standings and swept the Bears in all nine events. [read more]
