2009-10: Appeared in 29 games for the Mariners…he was third on the team in blocks (8)…finished the season with 82 points (2.8 per game), 43 rebounds, and 12 assists.

2008-09: Appeared in 26 games for the Mariners...recorded a career high 13 points against CCNY (1/19) and a career high five rebounds against Scranton (1/24)...finished the season with 102 points, 31 rebounds and eight blocks.
Before USMMA: Was a four year letter-winner...made the All-Area and All-State team.
Personal: Born in Bilouxi, MS...son of Daniel and Mary Effland...majoring in Marine Engineering.
