 Before USMMA: Slusarczyk earned four varsity letters in both baseball and swimming at Woodbury High School.  He served as captain of the baseball team and was named first- and second-team all-conference honors in both sports.  Slusarczyk's swimming team captured the 2013 Arctic Division Champion.  He graduated as a member of the honor roll and received the Principal's Award.
