2009: Saw action in six games...finished with 15 solo, nine assisted for a total of 24 tackles...one fumble recovery.
Before USMMA: McGroarty was a three-year letterwinner in football and track & field, and a one-year letterwinner in wrestling and baseball at Paul VI Catholic...As a sophomore, was named to the All-Conference Third team in football...As a junior, was tabbed to the All-Conference First team in football...As a senior, was selected to the All-Conference First team in football...Also, senior year was named to the All-DCsportsfan.com First team and All-Met Honorable Mention squad in football...Part of wrestling team that took home its conference championship during his senior season...In track & field, finished in first place junior and senior year in the 4x100, shot put, and discus at Virginia States...In his senior season, earned second place in the shot put at the conference championships.
