KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Sept. 17, 2025) – The USMMA men's soccer team struck early and never looked back in a 3-0 shutout victory over visiting St. Joseph's-Long Island on Wednesday night at Bartoszek Field. With the win in their Skyline Conference opener, the Mariners improve to 4-2-1 (1-0-0 Skyline), while the Golden Eagles fall to 2-2-0 (0-1-0 Skyline).

Senior
Drew Boukidis (Charlotte, N.C.) powered the offense with a pair of first-half goals. He opened the scoring just 37 seconds into the contest with an unassisted strike and doubled the advantage in the 24th minute for his second brace of the year.
Junior
Andrew Campbell (Severna Park, Md.) added the Mariners' third tally in the 29th minute with a shot from distance, capping off a three-goal surge in the opening half-hour.
From there, USMMA controlled the match on both ends of the field. The Mariners outshot St. Joseph's 21-8 overall, including an 11-6 edge in shots on target, while also generating eight corner kicks to the visitors' zero.
Junior
Ethan Howell (Alexandria, Va.) stood tall in net, turning aside all six shots on goal he faced to earn his fourth win and third shutout of the season.
The Mariners continue Skyline Conference play this Saturday, Sept. 20, when they travel to face Farmingdale State. Kickoff is set for noon.
