United States Merchant Marine Academy

Curtis Stembridge joins the United States Merchant Marine Academy football staff as the Mariners' defensive line coach for the 2026 season.

Stembridge comes to Kings Point after serving as an assistant coach at St. Francis Preparatory High School in Fresh Meadows, N.Y. Prior to St. Francis Prep, he spent nine seasons as assistant head coach at the Frank J. Macchiarola Educational Campus in Brooklyn, where he worked extensively with the defense before later serving as offensive coordinator.

Stembridge earned his bachelor's degree in Education from Hampton University and a master's degree in Special Education Teaching from Touro College. He is also a certified special education teacher in New York State.
