(Sept. 5, 2026) – The USMMA women's volleyball team swept its home tri-match on Saturday, taking the opener 3-1 over Suffolk University (25-15, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16) before winning in straight-sets in the nightcap over Saint Elizabeth (25-6, 25-6, 25-6). The pair of victories brings the Mariners' record to 3-0 on the season.

Miranda Zeng (Cupertino, Calif.) dished out 52 assists and led the Mariners with five service aces, while fellow plebe
Anna Kelly (Orange, Texas) posted a double-double with a team-high 13 kills and 13 digs, hitting .375 on the day. Senior
Erin Stillinger (Keller, Texas) added 12 kills on a .423 hitting percentage, and junior

The Mariners return to the court on Tuesday night. Sept. 8, when they take on arch-rival Coast Guard to begin the battle for the 2026-27 Superintendents' Trophy. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Bears' Roland Hall.
