NEW HAVEN, CONN. (April 13, 2025) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Wilton Wright Invitational hosted by Southern Connecticut St. Freshman
Morgan Doll (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) posted another top 10 finish while senior
Kelley Lakawitch (Homer Glen, Ill.), sophomore
Jordan Washington (Tampa, Fla.), and plebe
Karley Rush (Trinity, Fla.) all registered new personal bests.

Doll finished second in the 400m hurdles, crossing the tape with a time of 1:13.63. Rush finished 13th in the 1500 meters and put up a new PR with a time of 6:20.66, while Lakawitch hit a new personal best in the 400m, finishing in 1:20.43.
Washington set a new personal best in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 34.77m (114' 1").
Kings Point will compete next Saturday, April 19 at the Rider Invite in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
