GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 21, 2025) – USMMA junior diver
Thomas Cable (Litchfield Park, Ariz.) competed twice for the #22 Mariners this week at the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving National Championship Meet held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. It was the third-straight season that the junior represented Kings Point at the national event.

Cable took part in the three-meter diving competition on Wednesday afternoon and closed out his time at NCAAs on Friday in the one-meter dive.

The junior recorded a 22nd place finish in the prelims of the three-meter event with a score of 396.30 and then produced a 21st place showing in the one-meter after scoring 398.15 in the prelims.

That wraps up the Mariners' 2024-25 season, in which they captured their 26th-straight conference championship as well as an impressive second-place finish at the NJAC Championships. Merchant Marine went 7-1 in dual meets, set six new Academy records and saw numerous swimmers and divers achieve NCAA cuts.
