STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Sophomores Jordan Washington (Tampa, Fla.) and Katelin Hanifan (Andover, N.J.) and freshman Jayme Santasiero (Houston, Texas) all registered personal bests to headline the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at the Fastrack National Invite at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Washington put up a new personal best in the weight throw with a toss of 12.83m (42' 1"), while Hanifan recorded a mark of 10.20m (33' 6").
 
Santasiero was the Blue and Grey's top finisher in the 60m dash with a personal-best time of 8.50.
 
Merchant Marine returns to competition next Saturday, Feb. 15, at the NYU Division III Invitational at the Armory in Manhattan.
