KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Sept. 10, 2022) – It was a busy day of action for the USMMA fall teams that competed (or tried to compete) away from the Academy on Saturday, as five of the six contests that were scheduled were completed. See below for quick recaps for the teams.
Women's Soccer At Lehman Canceled Due To Weather
The women's soccer team traveled to the Bronx to take on Lehman College in a non-conference game, but the beginning of the game was delayed due to the same lightning that suspended the football game at KP. Then after torrential downpours at the Lightning's South Field, the playing conditions were depleted so badly on the field that the teams decided to cancel the game.
The Mariners (0-2) will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 13, at Drew University for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff at the Drew's Ranger Stadium. Live links to follow along are available on
