TOWSON, Md. (May 13, 2023) – The USMMA men's track & field team saw a trio of Mariners named ECAC Champions, scored fifth-place with 81 points, and witnessed nine student-athletes participate across eight events at the 2023 ECAC Outdoor Championships hosted by Goucher College.

Konnor Bye (Liberty Hill, Texas) is now an ECAC Champion in the long jump with a distance of 6.86m while also taking the bronze for his 13.36m triple jump

Nathan Fields (Westminster, Md.) joined his teammate by sporting a pair of medals to bring home to Kings Point, grabbing the silver plus a PR in the shot put (14.11m) and bronze for the discus (35.13m).

Isaac Clark (Weddington, N.C.) torched the competition en route to winning the 1,500m run, speeding around the track in an even four minutes (4:00.00).

The third to land in first place was
Lance Clemons (Westlake, Ohio), doing so in the 800m at a clip of 1:58.33.

The 800m run itself scored the Blue and Gray a total of 24 points as
Silas Glynn (Folsom, Calif.) was the runner-up with a 1:59.18 while
Alex Burita (Annandale, Va.) ended up in the top-five registering a 2:04.86.

Corey Haney (Medina, Ohio) put a nice bow on a highly successful field day, taking the last podium spot by tallying third in the pole vault (3.75m).

One final medalist came off the legs of
Isaiah Sims (Sunnyvale, Texas), whose 49.28-second 400m gave him a silver medal while
Jason Healey King George, Va.) crossed the tape two spots behind him in fourth for his 52.02, both personal-record times.
