POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (March 21, 2023) – The USMMA men's lacrosse team could not keep the positive vibes rolling from the Drew comeback into its Tuesday road tilt at Vassar, losing to the Brewers by a tally of 15-12.

The men from Kings Point had double the extra-man opportunities (8-4, scoring three times), won 17-of-32 (53.1%) face offs, and almost succeeded in all of its clear attempts (10-for-11, 90.9%), but a minus-seven turnover margin plus a three-goal edge after the first quarter was just enough to sink the Mariners.

Chris Neuman (South Huntington, N.Y.) was a Hoover, picking up a game-best ten ground balls and was the victor for all 17 of the team's face off wins.

Dom Mirack (Stevensville, Md.) created a season-most three turnovers, accounting for half of the squad's six on the night, plus three grounders.

William Badeer (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) was the top scorer for The Academy, taking three shots and scoring on each while dishing out a pair of assists for five points.

Carter Hall (Annapolis, Md.) put four eggs in the net-woven basket on top of his third caused turnover of the season and
Jack Collins (Memphis, Tenn.) racked up all of his points on helpers with four, a season-high, as well as 2023-bests in both shots (4) and shots-on-goal (3).
