Mar 6, 2010 - CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - Junior Vincent Renaut of the No. 13 United States Merchant Marine Academy wrestling team defeated Augsburg College junior Orlando Ponce for the 165-pound national title on Saturday evening. Renaut etches his name in the Kings Point history books as he becomes the first wrestler in school history to become take home a national championship.

Junior Vincent Renaut, who was named an All-American, will battle Augsburg College junior Orlando Ponce for the 165 pound national title at 8 p.m. EST tonight. This will mark the first time in school history that a Merchant Marine wrestler will compete in the finals.
