Pistol Places Fifth At NRA Collegiate Championships
Mar 15, 2008 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy pistol team placed fifth out of nine competing teams at the National Rifle Association Collegiate Championships this past week in Fort Benning, Ga. The team placed fifth in the free pistol, eighth in standard pistol and fifth in air pistol. For the third and final time in as many outings, the Mariners finished ahead of Coast Guard in the team standings and swept the Bears in all nine events.

Feb 21, 2006 - West Point, NY - With an aggregate of 6026 points, the United States Merchant Marine Academy pistol team placed second over the weekend at Sectionals hosted by Army. The Mariners placed second and defeated rival U.S. Coast Guard Academy in the process by 24 points.
