Wednesday morning, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association named
senior Brian Flannery
of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy lacrosse squad a Scholar All-American
following his superb 2010 season. This marks Flannery’s first selection to a Scholar

N.J. – On Tuesday, the Landmark Conference
office released its 2010 men’s lacrosse all-conference teams and three members
of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy lacrosse squad found themselves receiving
accolades. Senior attackman Brian
Flannery
was named to the
All-Conference First-team and was also honored as the Co-Player of the Year.
Junior attacker Zach Gray
and
junior defenseman Kevin Campbell

Wednesday, the fourth-seeded U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men’s lacrosse team
lost to top-seeded
Goucher
College, 6-2, at Beldon Field in
Towson,
Md. in
the Landmark Conference Tournament Semifinals. With the win, the Gophers
improved to 13-3 overall and advanced to the Landmark Conference Championship
game on Saturday versus
Catholic
