The United States Merchant Marine Academy football program will look to remain competitive in the Liberty League, one of the nation’s premier conferences at the NCAA Division III level, with a young squad this fall. Senior linebacker Garron Edgington and junior place kicker Geoff Troy were each named to the All-Liberty League Second Team. The announcement was made by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Calder Kaatz and Derrick Ventre of the United States Merchant Marine Academy football team earned weekly honors by the Liberty League today for their roles in the Mariners’ 37-32 victory over Susquehanna. Kaatz earned Liberty League C-Defensive Player of the Week honors while Ventre was named the Liberty League Co-Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.jump to page:
