Senior Geoff Troy, Senior Davey May, Junior Calder Kaatz and Sophomore Karl Heimbrock of the United States Merchant Marine Academy football team were named to the All-Liberty League Team. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy football team upset RPI, 23-21 on Saturday afternoon in Kings Point, NY. Senior running back J.J. Watson led the Mariners offense for the day. Senior Michael Gallucci led the Mariners defense. Geoff Troy added three field goals in the game. USMMA was able to control the clock and hold the ball for 36:51 for the game.

The United States Merchant Marine Academy football team fell to Union College, 42-14 on Saturday afternoon in Schenectady, NY. Sophomore quarterback Derrick Ventre led the Mariners offense for the day. Nick Thompson led the Mariners defense.
