King & Jorstad Sweep Skyline Weekly Honors For Fourth Time This Season

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Oct. 2, 2018) – The Skyline Conference should consider renaming its weekly women's cross country awards the Robin King (Raymond, Ohio) Runner of the Week and Brooke Jorstad (La Crosse, Wis.) Rookie of the Week Awards, because, for the fourth time this season, the pair have swept the conference honors, the league announced this past Monday. The accolades come after the duo's performances in the St. Joseph's-L.I. Invitational this past Saturday, Oct. 13.

King was the individual champion of the 5k race, breaking the tape with a time of 19:35.4.

Jorstad came in sixth place in the race, crossing the finish line in 20:34.2.

The pair helped lead the Mariners to a second-place team finish (first among DIII schools) at the invite, and just two team points behind Division I champion Fordham.
