Beau Bruno enters his fourth season as the assistant wrestling coach at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Bruno comes to the Academy after working as an assistant coach at New York University.

Beau began his collegiate wrestling career at Seton Hall University. After two seasons with the Pirates, Bruno transferred to Binghamton University. At Binghamton he was named Academic All-American his senior year as well as placing fourth at the Division I CAA Conference Championships at 149-pounds.

Bruno earned a Bachelors Degree in Human Development in 2004 from Binghamton University and received a Masters Degree in School Counseling in 2006 from Fordham University.

Bruno is a native of Mineola, NY where he placed 2nd in the 1999 NY State Championships. He currently resides in New Hyde Park, NY.
