Wrestling team adds 8 newcomers for the 2011-2012 season
KINGS POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy wrestling team has unveiled its recruiting class, which includes eight newcomers for the 2011-2012 season.
The newcomers include three high school state champions and a state runner-up and four other promising wrestlers.

The Mariners will open their season at The College of New Jersey Invite at TCNJ on Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. they will host Hunter College in their first dual home match on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. Other home encounters include Nassau on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m., Coast Guard on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. and New York University on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.
