Men’s Cross Country Takes 10th at CTC Championships
SEWELL, N.J. – On Saturday, the United States Merchant Marine Academy men's cross country squad placed 10th at the CTC Championships at Cherokee High School in Sewell, N.J. The 8K run was hosted by Rowan University.
"There was very stiff competition amongst the Division II and III schools participating at this meet. Some of the top teams in our region were represented," Head Coach Gregory Lott commented. "Prior to this meet, we only had three male athletes under 30 minutes on an 8K course. Six of them broke that on this tough course this weekend. The men are starting to peak at the right time and carry good momentum going into the Landmark Conference Championships."
Head Coach Gregory Lott and the Mariners return to action on Saturday, October 30 when they travel to Goucher College in Baltimore, Md. to compete in the Landmark Conference Championships.
