KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Jan. 24, 2015) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men's and women's swimming & diving teams hosted Landmark foe Marywood University on Saturday at the O'Hara Hall Pool. Both the Mariner men and women came out victorious – the women by the final of 188-112 and the men, 185-104.

The women won all races and diving competitions in the meet except the 1,000 free and the 50 free. Senior Jacqueline White (Oradell, N.J.) and freshman Hallie Breidenthal (Overland Park, Kan.) led the way with three victories apiece for the Mariners.

On the men's side, a day after a loss to #8 NYU, Merchant Marine rebounded by winning all events against the Pacers except the 100 back and the 200 free relay. Four Mariners picked up a team-best two victories apiece – senior Kevin Lindgren (Palm City, Fla.), freshman Nick Lambson (Knoxville, Tenn.), sophomore diver Ryan Mavity (St. Joseph, Mich.) and sophomore Austin Butt (Westminster, Md.).
