12 Mariners Earn All-Conference Distinctions

The United States Merchant Marine Academy men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned a combined 12 All-Conference distinctions for their performance at last weekend's Landmark Conference Championships. 

1st Team All-Conference honors are awarded to student athletes who win an event or are members of a winning relay at a conference championship meet.  2^nd Team All-Conference honors are awarded to runners up.  Below is the list of Mariners who received distinctions:

Men:

Sean Minor (1^st Team All-Conference)

Frank Vita (1^st Team All-Conference)

Kevin Lindgren (1^st Team All-Conference)

Josh McCormick (1^st Team All-Conference)

Thomas Stewart (1^st Team All-Conference)

Nicholas Carbonetto (2^nd Team All-Conference)

Patrick Smith (2^nd Team All-Conference)

Women:

 Emily Boyson (1^st Team All-Conference)

Elizabeth Jackson (2^nd Team All-Conference)

Jacqueline White (2^nd Team All-Conference)

Both teams will be competing this weekend in the Metropolitan Championships at Rutgers University.
