    Trio Of Mariners Named To NSCAA All-East Region Team Earlier this week, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced the All-Region Teams for the 2016 Division III Men’s Soccer Season. Three Mariners were honored – senior Gavin Yingling (Salisbury, Md.) was selected to the First Team, junior Hannes Rogers (Weinheim, Germany) earned Second Team accolades and senior Cory Maier (Hampton, Va.) picked up a Third Team nod.

Head Coach Michael Smolens was named the 2016 ECAC DIII Metro Coach of the Year and senior forward Gavin Yingling (Salisbury, Md.) was selected as a First Team ECAC All-Star.

The entire Mariner squad and coaching staff was on hand to organize activities and games for the kids and help them learn more about soccer. Once again, the clinic went very well and was a huge success.

Four major athletic award winners were announced during the ceremony – the Male and Female Athletes of the Year as well as the two Coaches of the Year – along with a number of other athletic awards and honors.
