The two teams traded last-minute goals and the score was tied 11-11 after three.

The Mariners scored their only man-up goal of the game in the opening minute of the fourth, however that was all they were able to score in the final stanza, as Montclair's goalie made five saves in the quarter and the Red Hawks scored twice more to claim the narrow victory.

Three other Mariners had three points each, as sophomore Nick Roros (Northport, N.Y.) recorded a hat-trick, senior Pat Coll (Clifton Park, N.Y/) added two goals and an assist and classmate Nick Treon (Danville, Pa.) dished out three helpers.
