USMMA Golf Finishes 4th Overall at Service Academy Golf Classic

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Monday and Tuesday, the United States Merchant Marine Academy golf team competed in the Service Academy Golf Classic in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Mariners finished fourth overall behind Division I opponents Air Force, Army and Navy. Par for the course was 72.
Four midshipmen finished in the Top-25. Freshman Dom Tumolo (Washington Twp., N.J.) placed 22nd overall with a score of 92. Rookie Eric Hartman (Argyle, Texas), freshman Michael Wilson (Poquoson, Va.), and junior Keegan Farley (Ponder, Texas) were each one spot behind the other for places 23rd, 24th and 25th. Hartman shot a 111, Wilson recorded a score of 118, and Farley notched a 120.
Junior Jay Yang (Fullerton, Calif.) finished in 26th place with a score of 130.
