(Jan. 23, 2018) – USMMA freshman James Walsh (Huntington, N.Y.) was named the Skyline and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII Metro Rookie of the Week for the week ending Jan. 21. This is the third-straight week (and fifth time this season) that Walsh earned the Skyline honor and the second-straight week (and third time this season) he got the accolade from the ECAC.

Walsh collected a game-best 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting, including five three-pointers, to go along with six rebounds and three assists in a road loss last Tuesday at Farmingdale State in the Mariners' lone game of the week.
